It is a great pleasure for us to announce that the construction of the new purpose-built facility for the Nursing & Midwifery Development Centre started on 21 December 2022 with the groundbreaking ceremony. The centre will become a place of learning for nurses, midwives, and other health professionals in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, but also a place of development of nursing and midwifery professions, research, advocacy, and consultancy.
An important part of the NMDC will be an Emergency Preparedness Programme that will provide an emergency preparedness, response and recovery training and simulation exercises to support the seamless response to disasters and emergencies by community and the health system.
We thank all our supporters, especially LDS Charities, Erbil Governorate, Erbil General Directorate of Health and the Ministry of Health.

مەراسیمی بەردی بناغەی سەنتەری پەرەپێدانی پەرەستاری و مامانی و پڕۆگرامی ئامادەباشی فریاگوزاری
جێگەی خۆشحاڵیمانە ڕابگەیەنین سەبارەت بە دروستکردنی ئەو بینایە نوێیەی بۆ سەنتەری پەرەپێدانی پەرستاری و مامانی لە بەرواری 21ی کانوونی یەکەمی 2022 مەراسیمی دانانی بەردی بناغەی دەست پێکرا. ئەم سەنتەرە دەبێتە شوێنی فێربوونی پەرستاران و مامانەکان و پسپۆڕانی تری تەندروستی لەهەرێمی کوردستانی عێراق و هەروەها شوێنی گەشەپێدانی پیشەی پەرستاری و مامانی و توێژینەوەو پارێزەری و ڕاوێژکاری.
بەشێکی گرنگی ئێن ئێم دی سی پرۆگرامی ئامادەباشی فریاگوزاری دەبێت کە ڕاهێنان بۆ ئامادەباشی فریاگوزاری و وەڵامدانەوە و چاکبوونەوە و ڕاهێنانی هاوشێوەسازی دابین دەکات بۆ پشتگیریکردن لە وەڵامدانەوە بێ درزەکان بۆ کارەسات و فریاکەوتنەکان لەلایەن کۆمەڵگا و سیستەمی تەندروستیەوە.
سوپاسی هەموو پشتیوانانمان دەکەین بەتایبەتی ڕێکخراوی خێرخوازیی ئێڵ دی ئێس و پارێزگای هەولێر و بەڕێوەبەرایەتی گشتی تەندروستی هەولێر و وەزارەتی تەندروستی.
