The 1st International Nursing Conference in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq was successfully held on 7 - 8 July 2021. The event was organized by the Nursing & Midwifery Development Centre from Erbil, hosted by the American University of Kurdistan and supported by the Open Think Tank, both from Duhok.
The conference was conducted online after being postponed in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. More than 120 participants included international and local speakers, and nurses from academic, clinical and regulatory settings who presented and discussed a variety of nursing topics. The conference provided opportunities for sharing knowledge and experiences and received highly positive feedback from the participants.
The recommendations of the conference will be consulted and shared with the relevant governmental agencies and will be used for the development of the nursing profession in the region. The 2nd International Nursing Conference will be held in autumn 2022 in Erbil, and annually thereafter.
We would like to thank all the participants for joining us at this important event. We look forward to working together for the advancement of nursing and healthcare and meet again in 2022.
یەکەمین کۆنفڕانسی نێودەوڵەتی پەرەستاری لە هەرێمی کوردستانی عێراق
یه‌که‌مین کۆنفرانسی نێودەوڵەتی پەرستاری لە هەرێمی کوردستانی عێراق لە ۷ - ۸ی تەمموزی ۲۰۲۱ بە سەرکەوتوویی بەڕێوەچوو. ئەم مەراسیمە لەلایەن سەنتەری په‌ره‌سه‌ندنی پەرستاری و مامانی لەشاری هەولێر، وە بە میوانداری زانکۆی ئەمریکیی کوردستان، و بە پاڵپشتی هزرسازیا ئۆپن، کە هەردووکیان لەشاری دهۆکن، ڕێکخرا بوو.
کۆنفرانسەکە به ئۆنلاین بەڕێوە چوو، دوای ئەوەی لە ساڵی ۲۰۲۰ دا بەهۆی پانتای کۆڤید-۱۹ دواخرا بوو. زیاتر لە ۱۲۰ بەشداربوو که پێکهات بوو له وته‌بێژی نێوده‌وڵه‌تی و ناوخۆیی، و پەرستاران لە ڕێکبەندەکانی ئەکادیمی، و کلینیکی، و ڕێکخەری کە چەندین بابەتی جۆراوجۆری پەرستارییان پێشکەش کرد و گفتوگۆیان لەسەر کردبوو. کۆنفرانسەکە دەرفەتی بۆ هاوبەشیکردنی زانیاری و ئەزموونەکان ڕەخساند و لە لایەن بەشداربووانەوە ده‌ستکه‌وتی زۆر ئەرێنی وەرگرت.
ڕاسپاردەکانی ئه‌م کۆنفرانسە ڕاوێژ و هاوبەشی ده‌کرێت لەگەڵ دەزگا حکومییە پەیوەندیدارەکان وە بۆ پەرەپێدانی پیشەی پەرستاری لە هەرێم بەکاردەهێنرێ. دووه‌مین کۆنفرانسی نێودەوڵەتی پەرستاری لە پاییزی ۲۰۲۲ لە شاری هەولێر سازدەکرێت و ساڵانە لە پاش ئه‌وه‌وه.
سوپاسی هەموو بەشداربووان دەکەین کە لەم مه‌راسیمه گرنگە له‌گه‌ڵماندا بەشداربوون. ئێمە بە په‌رۆشین تا پێکەوە کاربکه‌ین بۆ بەرەوپێشچوونی پیشه‌ی پەرستاری و چاودێری تەندروستی وە دووبارە لە ساڵی ۲۰۲۲ دا کۆببینه‌وه.
