In January 2023, the NMDC with nurses from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio, USA organized an NICU course for 21 nurses from the Raparin Paediatric Teaching Hospital, Erbil Maternity Teaching Hospital, Pirmam General Hospital, Shahid Doctor Khalid Hospital, and Medical Technical Institute. The main aim of the course, which will contain 3 modules, is to improve the quality, safety, and outcomes of neonatal intensive care through capacity building of nurses and contribute to establishing the foundations of the neonatal nursing specialty in the Kurdistan Region. We look forward to the second and third modules, which will take place later this year and will hopefully lead to the improvement of care of premature babies. We thank all nurses who participated in the course, Raparin Teaching Hospital for hosting the training, and the Erbil General Directorate of Health for their support.

ڕاهێنانی پەرستاری چاودێری چڕی منداڵە ناکامەکان و گەشەپێدانی ڕاهێنانی پڕاکتیزەی کلینیکی بۆ هەرێمی کوردستانی عێراق
لە کانوونی دووەمی 2023، ئێن.ئێم.دی.سی لەگەڵ پەرستارەکانی نەخۆشخانەی منداڵانی سینسیناتی، لە سینسیناتی، ئۆهایۆی، ئەمریکا. خولێکی یەکەی چاودێری چڕی منداڵە ناکامەکان بۆ 21 پەرستار لە نەخۆشخانەی ڕاپەڕینی فێرکاری بۆ منداڵان و ئافرەتان و لەدایکبوونی فێرکاری و نەخۆشخانەی گشتی پیرمام و نەخۆشخانەی شەهید دکتۆر خالی، و پەیمانگای تەکنیکی پزیشکی هەولێر. ئامانجی سەرەکی خولەکە، کە 3 بەش لەخۆدەگرێت، بۆ باشترکردنی چۆنیەتی و سەلامەتی و دەرەنجامەکانی چاودێری چڕی منداڵە ناکامەکان لەڕێگەی دروستکردنی توانای پەرستاران و بەشداریکردنیان لەدامەزراندنی بناغەی پسپۆڕی پەرستاریی منداڵانی ساوا لە هەرێمی کوردستان. ئێمە چاوەروانی بەشەکانی دووەم و سێیەم دەکەین، کە دواتر ئەمساڵ ئەنجام دەدرێن وە بەئومێدەوە دەبێتە هۆی باشتربوونی چاودێری منداڵانی ناکام. سوپاسی هەموو ئەو پەرستارانە دەکەین کە بەشدارییان لەخولەکەدا کردووەو نەخۆشخانەی ڕاپەڕینی فێرکاری بۆ منداڵان بۆ میوانداریکردنی خولەکە و بەڕێوەبەرایەتی گشتی تەندروستی هەولێر بۆ پشتیوانیان.
